VPN Subscription &
Client Setup Guide

Work through account setup, plan selection, subscription retrieval, and client configuration, from the user panel to your connected device. Already have an account or subscription? Start at the relevant step.

Account setup

Create an account and save your login details

Click “Start Free” below to open the VPNMF account creation page in the user panel. VPNMF does not require an email address; create an account with a username and password. Choose a username that’s easy to remember but doesn’t reveal sensitive personal information, then set a unique password you don’t use on other sites. Follow the panel’s prompts to submit. If the username is taken, choose another and try again—you don’t need to reload the whole page.

Once you’re in the panel, make sure you can see your account overview, then save your username and password in a trusted password manager. Since no email address is required, don’t expect email-based account recovery; use the recovery options actually provided in the panel. Don’t share your password and subscription link together, and don’t stay signed in on a shared device. After setting up your account, choose a plan that fits your usage in the panel.

Plans & orders

Choose a plan and confirm it’s active

Open the Plans section in the panel. First compare monthly plans with data packages, then compare the data allowances. Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB; data resets monthly on the activation date. Choose based on your typical usage: browsing text-heavy sites uses less data than watching video regularly. Don’t choose based only on the number of devices, since VPNMF allows unlimited simultaneous connections.

If your usage varies, consider a data package: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, or ¥658/3000GB. Data lasts until used and never expires. Review the details on the Plans & Pricing page, then return to the panel to choose a package. When you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Read the change confirmation in the panel before proceeding; an upgrade does not restart the full plan period.

After choosing a plan, check the order total in the panel and pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. Once the payment page confirms completion, return to the user panel and check the order and plan status. Don’t place another order just because the payment window closed. If the order is still processing, check its details and payment instructions, keep any relevant records, and contact support through a panel ticket if needed. VPNMF offers a 14-day money-back guarantee; see the Terms of Service for how to request a refund. Once the plan is active, get your subscription.

Get your subscription

Get your subscription link from the overview

Open the account overview in the user panel, confirm your plan is active, and check your available data. Then look for the subscription or client import option. Think of the subscription link as the client’s entry point for retrieving server configurations: the client uses it to load the server list and relies on the same subscription for future updates. It isn’t a regular information page; after copying it, paste it into the subscription or configuration field in your client rather than saving it as a webpage bookmark.

If the panel offers an import option for your client, use that first. Your browser may ask whether to open an external app. Check that the app name matches the client you installed before allowing it to open. If the client isn’t installed yet, follow the platform setup instructions below, then return to the overview and try importing again. To copy the link manually, use the panel’s copy button so you don’t miss the beginning or end when selecting text. Don’t add spaces, line breaks, or quotation marks when pasting it.

Your subscription link contains credentials associated with your account, so protect it like a password. Don’t post it on public forums or include it in screenshots or support tickets. When reporting an issue, share the error message and client name instead, and redact the link. If you think the link has been exposed, check whether the panel offers a reset option. After resetting it, update the subscription on your existing devices too. Once you have the subscription, choose a client for your device.

Device setup

Import a client for your platform

Open the Downloads section in the user panel and find the VPNMF client and instructions for your device’s operating system. Download the client and get your subscription in the panel; downloads are available based on your active plan. Avoid installers from unknown sources, and don’t guess compatibility from a file name. The steps below show where to import on each platform. Menus may differ, but the goal is the same: add the subscription, load the servers, and select a configuration to use.

Windows: Add a subscription or configuration

In the panel’s Downloads section, choose the desktop client for Windows. Install and launch it by following the on-screen instructions. Return to your account overview and use the import option for that client. If the browser doesn’t open the app, launch the client yourself and look for a “Subscriptions,” “Configurations,” “Add,” or “Import from link” option. Paste the copied subscription link and save it. You can enter a recognizable label in the name field, but keep the link field intact.

After saving, check whether the server list appears. If you only see the subscription name, update that configuration and check for an error message. Once the servers load, select the configuration and open the connection page. Desktop clients may offer different ways to route system traffic. Follow the panel’s recommended settings when you first connect, and don’t let multiple clients manage your network at once—it can make troubleshooting harder.

macOS: Import and select the active configuration

In the panel’s Downloads section, find the macOS client and installation instructions, then choose the file that matches your device. After launching the client, try importing from the panel. If it doesn’t open automatically, add the remote subscription link from the client’s configuration list. Save it, then check that the configuration updated and the server list expands. Select the configuration you just added. Some clients keep older configurations, so a successful import doesn’t necessarily mean the new one is active.

If macOS asks to add a network configuration or grant permissions, make sure the prompt comes from the client you just launched, then follow its instructions. If the system blocks installation or launch, check the relevant guidance in the panel. Don’t change unrelated security settings just to continue. Once the configuration and servers are ready, keep the client open and verify the connection.

Android: Add a remote subscription

Get the Android client from the panel and install it as instructed. Open the client and go to its configuration or subscription settings. If the panel supports direct import, tap the relevant option in your browser and confirm that you want to open the client. To add it manually, choose the option to add a remote configuration from a link, paste the subscription link, and save it. Return to the configuration list, update it, confirm the servers have loaded, and set this configuration as the active one.

The first time you connect, Android will usually ask for permission to set up a VPN connection. Confirm the app’s source and follow the prompt to allow it. If another VPN app is already connected, disconnect it before trying again in this client. If the connection drops when you switch apps, check your device’s background and battery management guidance for this client. Adjust settings only as needed; you don’t have to change every background permission.

iOS: Install and import using the panel’s instructions

In the panel’s Downloads section, check which client supports iOS and follow the instructions for getting it from the App Store. The iOS installation process differs from desktop installers, so follow the panel’s current guidance and check the App Store for the app’s availability requirements. Once installed, return to the panel and choose the import option for that app. If you need to add it manually, look in the app for subscription management or an import-from-link option.

After adding and updating the subscription, select a server and connect. When iOS asks whether to add a VPN configuration, confirm the source, grant permission, and complete any requested verification. Return to the client and check its connection status—don’t assume you’re connected just because you’re still on the permission screen. If the server list is empty, check the subscription update status and make sure you imported the complete link before trying again.

Connection check

Connect to a server and verify access

Choose a location from the server list and connect. On your first try, keep the client’s default routing rules recommended by the panel, and avoid changing the server, proxy mode, and system network settings all at once. Wait for the client to show that it’s connected, then open a website that uses an international route and check that it loads and works normally. If the connection icon is on but the page won’t load, keep troubleshooting; the status label alone doesn’t confirm that the entire connection is working.

Use the site’s IP lookup tool to help check your current exit information. Keep in mind that rule-based routing may send different websites along different paths, so the exit shown on the lookup page may not represent the route used by every app. Verify access on the site you want to use. A page working in your browser also doesn’t mean command-line tools or standalone apps are using the same proxy settings. When getting started, first make sure the target website works, then troubleshoot other apps.

If access isn’t working, first check your plan and remaining data in the account overview, then see whether the client can update the subscription. If the update fails, check that the link is complete, hasn’t been reset, and that your device has a working network connection. If the subscription updates but the target site still won’t load, try another server in the client and check for a specific error message. Change one setting at a time and note the result. Repeatedly importing the same subscription can make your configurations harder to identify.

When troubleshooting AI tools, streaming services, or a specific app, network connectivity is only one part of the picture. Account region, the service’s own policies, and the app’s proxy settings can also affect the result. Don’t frequently change your account’s sign-in region just to test access. For more on rule-based routing, streaming responses, and the differences between web apps and APIs, see the AI access guide. This page covers only the basic connection steps. If the issue persists, submit a support ticket in the panel with your device’s operating system, client name, error message, and steps you’ve tried. Redact your subscription credentials.
